How I Can Help
You don't have to face loss alone.
Loss comes in many forms, and each person's experience is unique. Whether your grief is recent or something you have carried for many years, counselling can provide a safe place to slow down, make sense of your experience, and discover ways to move forward while continuing to honour what has been lost. You don't need to have the right words or know exactly what you need before coming to counselling. We simply begin where you are.
Areas I Support
Bereavement After the Death of a Loved One
The death of someone we love can change every part of life. Whether your loss is recent or many years ago, counselling offers a compassionate space to express your grief, honour your relationship, and navigate life after loss.
Anticipatory Grief
Grief often begins before a death occurs. Caring for someone with a life-limiting illness or facing the expected loss of a loved one can bring sadness, fear, guilt and uncertainty. You don't have to carry these feelings alone.
Prolonged or Persistent Grief
Sometimes grief remains deeply present long after others expect us to have "moved on." If your grief continues to feel overwhelming or you feel stuck, counselling can help you gently explore your experience without judgement or pressure.
Relationship Loss and Separation
The end of an important relationship can bring grief that is often overlooked by others. Whether through separation, divorce or estrangement, these losses deserve compassion and care.
Life Transitions
Life changes such as retirement, illness, becoming an empty nester, losing independence, or significant changes in identity can also bring grief. Counselling can help you adjust while rediscovering meaning and hope.
Caring for Someone You Love
Supporting a family member through illness, disability or ageing can be emotionally and physically demanding. Counselling provides a space where carers can receive support for themselves while continuing to care for others.
Grief That Others Don't Always Understand
Some losses are not openly recognised by society, yet they can be deeply painful. These may include:
- miscarriage or pregnancy loss
- infertility
- loss of a pet
- friendship loss
- estrangement
- loss of health or independence
- changes in identity
- moving away from home or community
Every loss matters because every loss represents something that held meaning.
My Approach
Rather than trying to "fix" grief, I provide a compassionate space where you can:
- share your story safely
- understand your emotions
- explore the continuing bond you have with those you love
- strengthen your resilience
- reconnect with your values
- discover hope while honouring your loss
Counselling moves at your pace and is tailored to your individual needs.

Is Counselling Right for Me?
You don't need to be in crisis to benefit from counselling.
Many people seek support because they simply want a place where they can talk openly, feel understood and receive compassionate guidance during a difficult season of life.
If you're unsure whether counselling is right for you, you're welcome to contact me for an initial conversation.
Every grief story begins with love.
Wherever you are in your journey, you don't have to walk it alone.
If you feel ready to take the next step, I would be honoured to walk alongside you.
Grief asks much of us. It asks us to carry love when someone or something precious is no longer with us in the way it once was. You don't have to carry that love—and that grief—alone.
